Open the app when ready
Ending a contract is the final step when the work is done or the engagement should no longer continue. Before ending it, confirm that the recorded time and project status are accurate.
What happens when you end a contract
- The system locks the hours already tracked on that contract.
- The client is billed for the tracked hours according to the billing configuration.
- Both the client and the freelancer can leave feedback about the completed engagement.
Review before closing
Always check the latest tracked hours and activity before ending the contract so you do not have to resolve avoidable billing disputes afterward.
How to end it
- Open the project from your dashboard.
- Select View Contract.
- Choose End Contract from the contract page and confirm the action.
